Hello! We’re Rex & Rose, a family-run creative business with a big love for little imaginations.
Inspired by our own children, Jack Rex and Emelia Rose, we believe there’s nothing quite like seeing a child’s imagination come to life.
Where it all began
From wonderfully wacky clay characters to colourful masterpieces and everything in between, we love the magic that happens when children are given the freedom to create.
And that’s really where Rex & Rose began. A love of making things, spending time together and seeing just how much joy a little creativity can bring.
Our very first brand designer! These drawings by Jack Rex helped inspire and shape the Rex & Rose name and brand.

Our children are at the heart of everything we do — and they’re not the only ones! Every week, we get to create alongside hundreds of wonderfully imaginative children at our craft clubs, and they’re a constant source of inspiration.
We see what makes them smile, what sparks their curiosity and what keeps those little hands busy. It’s this real-life experience that inspires our craft kits, activities and workshops.

More than just making things.
We believe creativity is about so much more than the finished masterpiece. It’s about the excitement of trying something new. The fun of experimenting. The confidence that comes from having a go. And the pride of being able to say, “I made that!”
We love giving children the freedom to make their own choices, follow their imaginations and put their personality into everything they create. Because sometimes the best creations are the ones that don’t quite go to plan!
There are no right or wrong ways to be creative, and no two little makers are ever the same.
We’re not just making things. We’re building creative thinkers.

Today, Rex & Rose is home to award-winning air-dry clay kits, after-school and holiday craft clubs, workshops and creative birthday parties. But whatever we’re making, our mission is always the same: to make creativity fun, accessible and full of possibilities for every little maker.
We’re so proud that our air-dry clay craft kit won GOLD at the MadeForMums Toy Awards 2024, but our favourite reward will always be seeing the smiles, excitement and amazing creations of the children who use it.
